Salary range: $73,864 - $110,793

The Systems Analyst, under the supervision of the IT Operations Manager, is responsible for the overall management, control, and direction of the City of Lee’s Summit Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP). The Systems Analyst will plan, design, develop, and deploy enterprise information systems and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and will sustain the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems by analyzing, monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing networked software and associated systems.




Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System Management, Management Information Technology, or closely related field

  • Five (5) years’ experience as an IT applications administrator or equivalent working with enterprise applications in a Microsoft operating environment.

  • Two (2) years’ experience providing technical support for an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application

  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license


The preferred candidate will have the following:

  • 3-5 years' experience configuring and supporting Workday

  • Experience with Multiple Workday modules, including: HCM, Finance, Payroll, integrations and reporting

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and provide technical guidance to team members

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Extensive knowledge supporting enterprise applications including workflow development and report building tools

  • Demonstrated skills in IT project management

  • Ability to plan, design, develop, and deploy enterprise information systems including enhancements and upgrades

  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other departments and with suppliers or the public as needed
