One full-time position available with the Aviation Department, Facilities Custodial Division, located at 1 Kansas City Boulevard in the MCI Terminal. 

Normal Work Days/Hours: Shifts based on operational needs, mandatory overtime will be required

Job Responsibilities: 

• Organizes staff to perform general and detailed custodial/maintenance work in a 24/7 operation.

• Work closely with the maintenance workers to ensure the trash room is kept clean and organized.

• Inspects outer buildings for cleanliness, repairs, and work completion by Custodial Contractor.

• Routinely checks Aero Simple to ensure work requests are reviewed, assigned and tasks completed before the work requests are closed out.

• Ensures Traxx Passenger feedback is reviewed weekly and addressed accordingly.

• Works in all types of weather.

• Utilizes knowledge of floor care for maintaining hard surfaces and carpeted areas.

• Enter NOVAtime correctly for employees in the NOVAtime report system.

• Communicates orally and in writing to establish procedures, work schedules, training formats, administrative requirements, and/or disciplinary actions.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRES high school graduation, and five (5) years of experience in the custodial care and limited general maintenance of buildings, including two (2) years at the level of Building Maintenance Worker. May be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Salary: Starting at $24.77/hour
