Clay County, Missouri seeks a experienced professional for the position of Deputy Juvenile Officer – Drug Program Liaison working in the enforcement and administration of the Missouri Juvenile System. This person will exercise supervision over juveniles under the Court’s jurisdiction, work with some degree of independence. Clay County is seeking with knowledge of crisis intervention methods and crisis required legal documentation. A bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration, criminology, psychology, sociology, social work, or related field, and a valid driver’s license with liability insurance is desired.
The hourly hiring range is $19.69 - $21.87 with an employee benefits package that includes two defined benefit retirement pension plans fully funded by the County, choice of three medical plans including two high deductible plans with County funded HSA. The option to include dental, vision, flexible spending, and supplemental plans. Full-time employees are also offered life insurance (2X annual salary) paid by the County, paid vacation/sick leave, 14 paid holidays, Long Term Disability, and tuition reimbursement.
