Join us Thursday, Feb. 26 for the kick-off session of the Housing Policy Innovation Series hosted by the Greater Kansas City Regional Housing Partnership (RHP). The event will focus on pre-approved building plans as a strategy for affordable, quality housing development and will feature a keynote presentation and panel discussion exploring how to implement these strategies at the local level.
The session will take place from 2-4 p.m. at Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City, located at 1423 Linwood Blvd. in Kansas City, Missouri.
Matthew Petty, co-founder and CEO of Pattern Zones Co., is the event's featured speaker. Petty is a pioneer in creating permit-ready housing programs that help municipalities dramatically reduce the time, cost and uncertainty of building affordable, quality homes.
The four-part Housing Policy Innovation Series provides local government officials, policymakers, and housing stakeholders the opportunity to learn about and explore innovative, creative strategies that can be used to address the housing challenges in their communities and reduce barriers to housing development, preservation and attainability.
