RAPIO - February 2024 Meeting

We hope to see you Friday, Feb. 23, for a presentation and discussion focused on the power of applying private-sector strategies on branding, audience engagement and more. We’re so excited to share that our presenter will be Jordan Betts, communications manager with Charlie Hustle. Jordan will dive into the value of strong branding, successfully engaging audiences and lessons for local governments. (We have a few lines out and perhaps will bring you another superstar presenter, as well.)

At the meeting, we’ll talk about:

  • Why it’s important to build your brand.
  • What engagement means and how to do a good job.
  • How to keep audiences involved.
  • The power of partnerships.

Lunch payment can be made online, in person with cash, or by invoice. The deadline to request a lunch is 5 p.m. Feb. 20.

Also, don’t miss the Social Media Subcommittee, which will meet right after RAPIO at 1 p.m. This month’s theme is “Crafting Mastering Memes with Your Own Photos.” Join the subcommittee meeting for an engaging presentation on the art of creating memes using your own photos. In this session, you’ll delve into the fundamentals of meme culture, explore iconic examples of internet humor and be guided through the process of crafting your own viral sensations. This presentation will equip you with the tools and insights to elevate your meme game and leave a lasting impression in the digital sphere. Bring your laptops for a special activity and get ready to unleash your creativity and master the art of meme-making like never before!

  • 1 p.m. – Social Media Subcommittee
