Join us to celebrate local Vibrant Success Stories on December 5 at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center at 4801 Rockhill Road. MARC will recognize projects funded through the Planning Sustainable Places (PSP) program that have successfully advanced integrated transportation, land use and environmental planning at the local level. PSP projects support vibrant places, connected places, and green places.
For over a decade, the PSP program has provided seed funding, supporting projects of all sizes throughout the region. These studies empower communities to chart their path forward with a roadmap developed alongside local residents and businesses. PSP helps local government to advance projects and investments that benefit their community's unique strengths, priorities and aspirations through cost-effective improvements.
The event will feature showcase presentations sharing the impact of these projects on economic development and quality of life. After our showcase presentations, a Q&A panel with previous PSP sponsors will discuss the benefits and challenges that arise from this kind of integrated planning. We will also provide an update to the Comprehensive Climate Action Plan, reflecting changes made since the 2021 plan.
