MARC will host two workshops designed to move eligible federal funding applicants (and other infrastructure project champions) beyond a piecemeal approach and into a larger view of collaborative regional funding prospects.
The resilience-focused workshop will address multiple areas in the climate plan, including food systems, green infrastructure, resilience hubs, circular economy, and more. The mitigation workshop will include discussion of transportation systems, building energy efficiency and energy generation, among other factors. Environmental justice will be integral to all discussions.
(These events will take place in the days leading up to the KC Regional Climate Action Summit, but are separate from the Summit itself, with separate registrations and taking place in a different location than the Summit. For more information on the Summit event, please visit https://climateactionkc.com/climate-action-summit/)
